Default RDS Bike Show

Missed the bike show in the RDS 2 years ago and wasn't really into biking before that, so I'm looking forward to paying a visit this time around.

I've a question for those of you who've been before though; Is there a particular day of the show that's better than the rest (Fri/Sat/Sun) or are they all the same? I would've guessed Sunday might be good as exhibitors could be willing to reduce prices to shift gear on the last day... maybe that's wishful thinking on my part

From the website, it looks like the events/stunts etc. are repeated each day, would that be right?

Saturday seems to be the sweet spot when it comes to "quality". Friday they're kind of setting up/settling in and by Sunday they're a little bit tired and out of stock. Surely you might be able to find a few bargains, but those would be bargains of what people didn't want in the first place?

Good craic any day anyways...

Saturday is the best day at the show but if you're looking for bargains you'd probably do better at your local bike shop

And keep an eye on Cotters as he has been known to have his own "Clearance of old stock" sale the same weekend.

There's bikes stolen there every year. You'd be OK taking a Deauville or a Harley but I wouldn't take anything decent.

Have to say I've biked it in for every show and never had a problem. Last year the security guys were doing key checks on the bikes that were leaving to make sure they hadn't been jimmied.

Maybe my bike's just too shite for robbin'! Silver linings and all that.

I can second this, I went one year and the bike wasnt robbed! I never even anchored it down, or put any sort of chain to it, very secure!
Although, youd have to be a sad desperate cunt to rob a 1994 GS125...
