Thumbs up Kawasaki H2 SX Supercharged Sports Tourer

They've no doubt done it again......a break from the norm imo.

Looking forward to seeing it tomorrow.

Two versions, one slighter more expensive ( extra spec ) than the other. Prices judging by interweb around 19k here. The base model pretty much is as well spec'd as the higher model. Full led's, cruise control etc etc.

With a couple of other jap manufacturers, the future looks bright for supercharged bikes.

SUPERCHARGE YOUR JOURNEY

Whether you enjoy winding through the mountains, riding across the plains, or just heading down the highway, Ninja H2 SX will forever change your touring experience.

The substantially reworked engine also boasts a new flavour of supercharger to smooth out the power delivery, and soften the H2’s dramatic punch. It’s also there to allow the 998cc inline-four to muster 200PS peak power and 137.3 n.m of torque, while achieving much-improved emissions, and the same sort of fuel economy you’d expect from the Versys 1000.

There’s also electronic cruise control, traction control and engine braking control and KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), which uses an IMU to monitor engine and chassis performance throughout the corner, modulating brake force and engine power to get the best transition from acceleration to braking and back again.

The dash has a analogue-style tachometer that is complemented by a full digital LCD screen which shows all the useful information you need. There are two selectable display modes (Touring or Sport) to allow riders to prioritise what they see on screen.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX comes with a two year unlimited mileage warranty. Please talk to our staff to find out more about the Kawasaki factory warranty extension to four years that is available or have a look at the warranty tab on this page.

Kawasaki really have set a new benchmark in motorcycle engineering.

LCD vs TFT
The advanced, high-tech design of the instrumentation contributes to the Ninja H2 SX’s flagship-level quality. Kawasaki’s first use of a high-grade full colour TFT LCD screen on the SE. The SE model’s screen enables information to be displayed graphically. Two selectable display modes (Touring, Sport) allow riders to prioritise the information they want to see depending on the kind of riding they are doing at the time. Compared to the analogue-style tachometer that is complemented by a full digital LCD screen on the standard model.

Going against the grain a bit here, but for Ireland, what's the point in this ?
New bikes are becoming very expensive.

Amazing yoke.

To me it's a shame that they decided to go with that transformers design, doesn't work for me.

Horses for courses, I think it looks deadly and to me, the idea of a 200BHP bike that the missus can sit on the back of and not complain about sounds awesome.

Found this comment on another forum in a thread regarding fuel 'economy'. Gave me a chuckle anyway!

"After 60 miles your arse will feel like you have been gang raped and at a 100 miles it will resemble a female chimpanzees arse , like you have a red vinyl covered barstool seat stuck to your rear .
I'm trying to get it down to 20 MPG so i can get off it quicker."

You reckon the mrs will be comfortable on the back of that ?
You're right though, the IDEA that she'll hop on the back and you'll have 200hp to play with is great - this bike doesn't look to comfortably fit all of that profile.

She's currently perched on the back of an S1000R, this can only be an improvement!

So prices in the uk are at £15,099.

Thet equates to near 17,000e.

But thanks to our cuntish government VRT add 30%!
Now that will cost you 22,100e.

If there are cunts looking for a vote tackle them on VRT!
Christ this country is full of pricks looking for a slice of the pie!

No wonder fuck all people buy new here... I think I might migrate elsewhere.... any countries left with decent biking roads, no cops and still some craic?
