3k top's to spend, anyone any thought on the above list? looking for a 1000cc bike really, like the look of the 954 blade, also the FI r1's, and the k3 gsxr1000's. would love a sp1 either but doubt that'll happen..!

Nice Blade. At 36k the cam chain tensioner may need to be replaced so check for excessive noise from the engine when warm - at cold they all noisy as [email protected]&k.
With can and PC there you can smooth out that 3k rpm power surge if not done already.

I loved my 954; sometimes I regret selling it, but if I hadn't then I wouldn't have the ZRX.

As I've had a 954, if I were in the market for a litre bike I'd go for a GSXR1000... just about any year, 01-onwards, I doubt you'll go wrong as long as it's a clean bike w/some service history, they all seem to be great machines, culminating in the K5/K6.

I dunno why I've never been too drawn to the R1. You could certainly find a bargain out there if you look hard enough.

That gixxer is mine, put a deposit on her last week :)

Kinda wish he'd put sold on the damn ad

954's are awesome as well , about the power really of a gsxr 750 but they are as light as the 600's

"One owner"? With all the modifications done, not only should there be all the originals, I'd want to know why the change for each one. Why change the petrol tank cap? Why the carbon heel plates? Why the fairing respray? Why new plugs after only 7k miles?

I'm not saying it's dodgey, but I have doubts.

The fairings on the blue blade put me right off, rather a standard bike, don't mind the few mods but bodywork must be untouched,

Seen that Gsxr in Monaghan, just over budget but if its still there in a few week it might be worth an offer :/

3900 for the zx10 is way over budget! Maybe in a few years.

Anyone any pros or cons on these R1's? Seen this is low milage, just a pitty its way way over there!

I had a 954, loved it, savage bike and I'd buy another one in the morning. Have also heard good things about 2004/5 model R1 but they are quite pricey
