Seat concepts

I purchased a replacement foam and cover from seat concepts in the USA. It was quite expensive so I'm reluctant to fit it myself.
Can anyone recommend an upolsterer in Midleton/ Cork. Thanks Al.

Re: Seat concepts

Is there no equivalent to seat concepts in Europe? I want to purchase something similar but it would be very costly coming from states

There definitely is. Met a guy in Cork with a custom seat for his VFR, which was a beautiful job. He got it from the UK. Sorry cant remember to name of the company, but apparently that's what they specialised in

www.topsellerie.com based in France. Got a Fazer seat off them, very happy with it. They can send you out a re-upholstered seat on a second hand base and you send back your old seat when it arrives.

I've had three seats from the link I posted. They're by far the best seats I've ever seen or sat on. They're not cheap but by fuck they're good.

Re: Seat concepts

I got my seat done by Alex at Star upolstery in Blackpool. He did a fine job and charged a fair price. The difference in comfort is night and day. The seat concepts seats are expensive but now I only wish I had done the seat 4 years ago when I bought the bike. Why can't manufacturers make comfortable seats.
