Default Planet Fun Raided by CAB

There was considerable furore in Coolmine Industrial Estate recently when a large force of gardaí raided a retail outlet in the estate and seized a quantity of goods on the basis of search warrants.

Up to 30 gardaí drawn from the serious crime squad, CAB and the drugs squad descended on the premises of Planet Fun as part of an operation to combat money laundering. According to garda sources they were following up on information concerning the activities of a number of city centre based criminals.Gardaí raiding the Planet Fun premises in Coolmine

The gardaí had with them a large truck with which to transport the seized materials, which included computers, files and some motorbikes from the premises.

Planet Fun has been operating for a number of years in the estate and previously occupied a larger unit nearby which was eventually closed following protracted legal action on its planning status. The company which is operated by Owen Doran from Porterstown is a major supplier of motor bikes, mopeds, jet skis, karts and go-peds and carries out both retail and wholesale business as well as an internet and export business.

I was vaguely thinking of looking around there yesterday, though I eventually only got there when it was quite late. Are they still open? That said, avoiding them might be wise until their status is clear.

Will CAB be selling off all that loot they seized at a knockdown price ?!?

How about a nice ZX9R for 2000 Euro ?
There was a few tasty second hand sportsbikes in that place - glad I didn't know it was backed by drug money when I was there !!
