It's the irish summer that's fooling people into buying brand new bikes!

Also, the used market is so expensive that it almost make sense to buy brand new if you're almost there...

The market is completely nuts, used bikes are crazy expensive for the most parts and cheap new bikes are coming out which are miles better...

Lots of imports as well while the sterling was down and they keep coming.

Year ago I was looking at 2010/2012 bikes and your spending 10k on a 7 or 8 year old bike with no history of servicing and mentions of it was serviced before I bought it 6/8/10 months ago.

Brake fluid or fork oil changing seems to be something you read about in a book.

Valve clearances? Sure its running fine isn't it. Or at this miles the previous owner probably done it

So I bought new. And I've something that everything works as it should.

He could have gone in second time round with 4 bald tyres, if it was a retest on emissions within the 28 days all they are allowed to check is the emissions.
Similar thing happened to my shitbox jap cage Failed first time on a bulb, went back to a different test centre to have it checked and the inspector wanted to fail me on a loud exhaust but there was nothing he could do
