Been looking for a while now for an older Fireblade to keep for the odd sunny day out. After a few deals fell through for one reason or another, ended up picking up a 2007 bike with only 6000 miles from new.All old mot's,service history and books came with it as well as any standard parts.Glad now I held out for the right bike

» Can someone buy a bike for me? |
Apr 07, 2021 - 9:19 PM - by Chipped rim
|
I am in the market for an S1000RR or a GSX-R 1000 K3 K8 and I am unable to buy them even though I have the cash
With the S1000RR
Called the seller, all good he sent me more pictures and agreed to meet a few days later. In the meantime I was going to get it insured as I don't have a van and was going to ride it back and asked the guy for the number plate of the bike. He said he will not give me his number plate as I will find his address and steal the bike as it has happened to so many of his friends then later I told him that I need this to insure myself and he calls me immediately with very aggressive attitude saying that I dont know who you are and you are... » Irish Bike Prices ? |
Apr 02, 2021 - 12:46 PM - by Holy Moly
|
We'll, 3 months into the brave next world of Brexit, have Irish bike Prices firmed or flopped ?
I see pandemic payments in the US has sent everyone into a buying frenzy with stupid prices achieved on toys (especially off road bikes) and trucks.
I haven't been keeping an eye on the market here, but as a greedy fecker I have a number of bikes I think I want to shift on, wondering when the timing might be right.

Mate picked up an old Yam as per pick below, RD model, he's not really into bikes, just wanted an older bike to go on sunday spins. Think he got it fairly cheap and is going to spend a few quid on the cosmetics as it's a bit rough round the edges but seems to run great. He may want to sell it later in the summer, we don't know alot about them, question is are they easy to sell on and worth much if he wants to sell it on ?

I was on about buying new but realistically it's not a sensible decision for me at the moment.
I managed to wrangle this off my ol fella. 06 and 22k kms on the clock. Full luggage and wings.. a decent price too so we wouldn't fall out
And of course she broke down already

Nearly time for a new one. Arais tend to fit my ugly noggin fairly well, but alway found them a little on the noisy side.
Of the other main brands out there - are there any which are a similar fit to the Arais, worth a try ?

» Stafford Show October 2021 |
Mar 29, 2021 - 11:36 AM - by FJRLEE

The show is confirmed/planned to go ahead for 9th and 10th October.
Hopefully we will be long vaccinated by then but the clearing customs might be fun on the way back. Will have to get some fireworks to divert their attention.
The 'April' show is on 3rd and 4th July, a bit early for us, unless you know someone on the Board of the Beacon Hospital.

Not sure if this is the right section but I'm looking at a bike in Spain. Its uk registered but has been in Spain since mid 2019 in the owners holiday home.
My question is, does the vat and vrt go down the route of the new brexit rules or due to it being exported from the uk since pre brexit do the old rules apply, of just the normal vrt charges?

So you could say that taking money from hooring yourself out to easily influenced 'followers' / glorified dopes and the intellectually impaired who would actually base some buying decision on what another air-head got for free as 'what harm are they doing?',

But how many Sickos have now got home-sick sperm that whacked off to this broads spandex shots on instagram ?

Insurance renewal came in yesterday....417 (425 last year)
5mins later on phone, 375. Happy days.
42 is 2 tanks of juice....better on my pocket than theirs.
Thanks Principal......8 years of unbeaten quotes.
This year was the 1st year that I didn't even bother ringing the other crowds.
Who's left anyway.....Liberty, CN & AXA
AXA are the underwriters of Principal, and I think the only underwriters Principal have in the ROI, which made me smile when I asked them to see of they could do better on my renewal quotation.
Please hold for a minute while we check your details...........
We can recommend this policy from out underwriters...blah...blah...b lah
Very same policy as the... [Read More]

Closer to home is BMW or Honda CBR650 but really not that interested in the Honda.

» Led brake lights |
Mar 18, 2021 - 12:10 PM - by KTMkenny

Hi. After advise.
The givi rack gives my bike zero visibility of the tail light from the side.
I ride to night shift daily . I would feel abit safer if I was more visible.
I put these side makers on. But they look poxy. I want a more attractive
Any suggestions? What are those chinese led strips like?
Givi do stop light kist for the v46 box but its either brake OR tail not both. ANd im not sure they cure the side view problem. as they are higher than cagers line of sight.

Mar 18, 2021 - 11:51 AM - by Admin
|
Northern Ireland's Michael Dunlop has finished 11th on his first appearance at the Daytona 200 event in Florida.

The Ballymoney rider had qualified 21st on the grid on his Kawasaki ZX6 636 after struggling with bike issues and having limited track time.
The 31-year-old 19-time Isle of Man TT winner had occupied ninth place in the race with five laps of the 57 to go.
Dunlop came home 55 seconds behind winner Brandon Paasch, with Sean Dylan Kelly 0.030 adrift in second place.
The original start of the race at the Daytona International Speedway saw Dunlop hold... [Read More]

Fauci is the celebrity dancer on ice of the moment so you're unlikely to see this on television or at 'official sources' i.e snotty nosed teenagers 'fact-checking' and being paid to wear skinny jeans to look like faggots at the journal while 'debunking' disinformation and licking the waxed & bleached anus of their third-person gender pronoun-ed masters rectum.
