Unless you are buying the exact same make and model of helmet I'd prefer buy from a shop. The fact of them having the different models and sizes in stock to try on is worth the extra few euro I think. I purchased a Shark Spartan from a local shop about a year or so ago (O'Neill's Tralee), after a few weeks I spotted a few tiny cracks around the hole in the visor where the pinlock pin goes through, ordered me a new visor straight away, no hassel . If I had purchased on line I'm sure that simple thing would have taken a good few emails and probably having to ship the faulty visor back, so like I said, I thinks it worth always buying helmets and clothing from a shop, if they have what you want. And yeah Lee's still sell Shark.

Got a richa jacket yesterday in cotters reduced from 200 to €80.

There was a shark workshop there yesterday. They were servicing shark helmets for free. I have a shark skwal the last 2 years and gave it to your man for a service. He took it apart and cleaned it for half an hour . He stuck a brand new visor on it and it's like a brand new lid.

How much was that I asked ? Nothing shark man replied. The helmet is still under warranty. Great service and I definitely buy shark again. It's a very comfortable and quiet lid half the price of my previous shoei
