look up combined insurance

p.s insurance is compulsory for life cover, but wages loss cover would be a good idea

1. what times on nat circuit would the pre97s be doing ?

winner
midpack
backmarkers

(be interesting to see the spread...i cant find results anywhere on google)

2. would backmarkers be in danger of being lapped in a race ?

3. do you guys have loss of earnings insurance ?

4. transponder rental seems the ticket, you say €400 but thats new yeah ? ...can ye pick these up 2nd hand ?

thanks in advance

1. mylaps.com is your man!

2. Lads in the last couple places would be lapped usually, but there is usually no problem, the machine under the leader alone would usually pass the 32nd rider with relitive ease so no need for a silly move.

3. You must have insurance, Combined do insurance from 12 euro a month up to 72 euro a month, and have loss of earnings option. If you want I can pm you a number of Maria Greany she does the insurance for combined

4. They are 20 to rent on a day so in the long run, after 20 races buying one will have payed off.
I would probably not recomend a second hand one as the internal battery can fade over time, but if the price is right go for it.

Does it matter where the club is located and what club would some one sugest to join if there is any difference. And how to get the licence aftre id become a member og club.
Thanks and i hope i didnt sound stupid with all the questions.
Cheers
This club wouldnt be ideal, they wouldnt be informed of the ongoings in circuit racing so wouldnt be 'as' helpful to you as maby a club that deals with tarmac primarily.
You ask your club to send you a race licence application form.

Yeah clubman is for beginers, the fastest guys from clubmans are moved out of it and restricted to ISB at end of year for the next year.
Your supposed to be able to do ISB rounds after 1 year of racing as a choice like.

...this is turning into a mission !

1 join club
2 phone mcui for a race number
3 do a medical
4 send licence form to club for them to stamp then they send on to mcui
5 do flag seminar
6 do practice session; involves being followed round circuit to check riding skill. Must get under 1.24 sec on national circuit
7 get insurance
8 contact mondello, get a number

...then..

get hitch
get trailer
buy bike
get bike approved by mondello

race !

...it will be very tight for 25th but we'll see what happens ...all depends on getting bike at right money (anyone ??)....there's always next year :)

You also need to contact Jen as she keeps all the details for Pre 97's.
dont have her number myself, but maybe someone else on here does.

For insurance, i highly recommend, Combined Insurance. They will cover everything as long as you don't turn professional. Know a load of lads who have been paid for injuries, missing work etc due to racing crashes.

I have jens number, anyone who wants it can pm me
