Exclamation Donington Park Destroyed

What was initially expected to be a minor exercise in Cat rescue by the trackside at Donington Park, has resulted in the complete demolition and excavation of two famous corners from the Melbourne Hairpin to Goddards at the renowned British racing circuit.

Previous attempts to thwart what onlookers described as 'a very real threat to riders safety' were confounded by an elaborate underground maze of burrows hidden beneath the circuit which wildlife experts believe was the feral felines hunting ground.
" Come to think of it now, I haven't seen a mouse around here in ages"
said one observer who wished to remain anonymous,
" They still haven't found him you know, I'd say he's laying low at McCleans until this blows over "
he continued..

Resurfacing works are expected to cost in the region of 1.3million pounds, with all events postponed until further notice.

" We might as well go the whole hog now and re-model the place for 2019"
said Jack Palance, chief negotiator with an Irish machine operator who's initial brief was to assist with excavations of a minor burrow found amongst the kitty litter, during an out of hours nixxer routine from the councils nearby motorway maintenance program.

"We don't need any of them Archimatec's really, shir they'd RiDE yah for an A3 piece of paper, see this Komatsu right here, that's what those fuckers would want for doing a squiggly drawing like a child would do, not to scale with no dimensions anywhere and the minute they get a cheque, they'll not answer the phone and you have your shyte "
said an unnamed machine operator familiar with the project and associated formalities
" We just need to put a positive spin on this for the bean counters "
Mr. Palance added
"I propose a new entry point over there to be much enhanced with block paving, grass landscaping, trees, shrubs, that kind of thing. The structural integrity of this unsightly concrete wall has already been undermined by a track machine, so needs to be removed in the interest of safety eitherway and can go towards foundations for new paybooths, all visitors could now enter the venue with a view of the newly named Cat Corner / Melbourne Hairpin with clear visual access to amenity space and spectator areas. "Melbourne was a rale fuck of a corner anyway and wont be missed, everyone hated it, you cut the apex to stop wankers passing on the brakes pushing ya wide, then lost momentum on the exit and they get ya down into goddards, another prick of a corner "
added Jack's assistant.

New ticket booths and pay lanes are believed to be planned with a dedicated lane for advance ticket holders to finance the entire operation, and hopefully reduce queues for the 2019 season.
