Default gsxr1000 k5

Bike Make : Suzuki

Bike Model : GSXR 1000 K5

Year : 2007

Price : € 4,750 ono

Mileage : 29,000

Colour : Black

Extras : Yoshimura exhaust, tail tidy

Overall Bike Condition : Bike is in good condition, its used as a daily at the moment so its due a good wash but other than that the condition is good. A few age related marks but nothing major.

Tyre/Chain/Sprocket Condition : Brand new front tyre, rear is probably 75%. Maybe another 500 miles in it roughly

Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work : This model was subject to a recall which the previous owner did not know. It has a full brakes upgrade courtesy of suzuki only 2/3 months ago so the brakes are fully serviced and up to spec.

Non Restricted/Shop Restricted/Factory Restricted :

Bike Location : Dublin 18

Irish/English Registered : Irish but originally came over from England hence the 07 reg on a K5

Any Other Relevant Info : Howye lads, I just thought I would use this space to write my blurb. It pains me to do this but I need to move one of my bikes on to fund a deposit toward my first house. I bought this bike back in Feb 17 (approx) and I have used it as a daily driver every since. As mentioned above, I brought the bike to suzuki when I first got it to get it checked out and they told me that there was a recall on this model for the master brake cylinders so all of that was all upgraded and serviced (certificate there for that).

The only issue with this bike is that the steering lock is broken
I know this is always going to raise alarm bells but I have all the docs for the bike and I had it checked out by the cops before I bought it so its not robbed This is the way I bought the bike. The previous owner decided to keep it a secret from me and never mentioned the issue. I have spoken to a few shops and its not a major thing to fix according to them. I always have it garaged at home and in work so I was able to survive without the steering lock until now.

The K5 is the most sought after model of its time and are getting harder and harder to find in good condition.

Any questions just ask

Is it the lock stops that are broke or is it the ignition switch?

The bike got a full check over by Suzuki i.e. Priory and the only thing that it needed to be recalled for was master brake cylinder which was done.

I think its the ignition switch PJ but im not 100%. You may think I am crazy but I only brought it into a shop to get the new front tyre. Nothing else has been done to the bike. As I said I have the use of a garage both at home and in work so although it was a priority, I have managed to live with it for the last few months. The price reflects any repair that may be needed.

I am open to reasonable offers on this bike lads

It got a full checkover mate. The only thing they said needed to be done was the brake cylinder which they did.
