Some vans have cameras out the front or at least can snap you after you pass them. Speed van my side of the road facing same way as me, I go past and it got a pic of the reg on the back of the bike as I drove away from the front of the van.

just to confirm then, if you are going a little too fast on the approach, as long as you are not over the limit when your REG plate is in view you are ok?

If you were truly doing only 15/20km/h over the limit according to your speedo, then you might have been only 5km/h or so over in real speed.

Don't know how harsh they are, but I would like to think a 5km/h over is easily disregarded if it even comes to it, which I don't think.

So you should be OK.

Can they get the tax disc...bollocks if they can. On another note, do you ever get checked at stops for tax. My disc is out since 2015 from prev owner. I know, I know. I will tax it at the end of month.....but I also know of some lads don't even bring the disc with them on the bike.

the cnuts changed the rules so that you need to declare it off the road on or before the last day of the disc expiry otherwise you get hit with fkn arrears. If it;s in your name you could get hit with arrears if you did ever go to tax it. Not sure if you sell it to another () person whether they would be liable or not...

Would ya believe the other half bought it off me the other day. She has no license for a bike so I'll prob buy it back off her. I'll tax it then.
