well tore the engine apart found a few problems....had a rod knock so i end up splitting the cases found rod bushing bad and were on crank journal can they be machined or they [email protected]@ked.....???

Depends on the wear/damage and if you can get undersized shells. Probably need an engineering workshop to look at it but when you bring it in to them have the manufacturer specifications and available bearing under sizes so they can tell you if its repairable.

A friend of mine is doing similar with a K1100 but then managed to pick up a used crank in Germany delivered here for about €50 all in that turned out to be in original spec for original shells.
