Default Looking for recommendations for leather trousers

Hi All,

I have an Alpinestars Drystar Andes Textile coat (jack-et) and a pair of Oxford textile pants.
The zips on the jocks and pants (to tie them together) don't match. (don't tell me what I already know, I was on a budget...)
Not a huge deal, the coat is good and I'll prob change the pants for a pair of matching Alpinetat Andes at some time in the future. At least then I can zip them up together to keep my back warm..

I also have a leather Richa "coat" got from dung deal that fits me perfect. Ironically, the back zip on this matches the Textile pants. I want to get a leather pair to go with the jack-et probably in January if there is a decent sale on. These will probably be the only pair I'll buy for a good few years so need the advice from the collective on here....

Looking at Richa Imola (on offer here for 99yoyos) http://www.motorcycleshop.ie/richa-i...ack-5010-p.asp
but not sure how good they are.

Also looking at Richa Piranha on Lee honda site, but that's at the upper limit of my budget.

Also bear in mind I have a F650GS so I know I can't really look any more stupid but i think that having the MotoGP look on an "Adventure" bike is akin to having motocross gear on a Harley. I know I don't need knee sliders, but I would like something that covers up my lower back.

Recommendations appreciated.
Cheers.

Sew on the alpinestar zip beside the existing zip on the pants. All [email protected] come with a spare zip for such cases....it does be zipped on when you get the [email protected]

My Richa leather had the spare zip but the textile didn't. Was my first biker clothing purchase and didn't know any better. (still don't obviously...)

Sounds good. But still interested in opinions on leather pants.

I'm on my second pair of Dainese touring trousers. Work for me as both of my jockss are Dainese with the same fitting, but I suppose with a converter zip, they could be made to adapt to other makes. The armour round the shin and knees fits well, much better than most of the textiles, and all of the kevlar denim bottoms. Expensive new, but you can pick them up s/h for a lot less. You often come across guys selling two-piece suits where the jockss aren't in great shape, but the trousers are little worn and like new.

Good heavy quality leather and stitching, only thing you have to be careful of is some of the coloured designs can start to look a little dated. Less colour the better - imho.

I have a Richa leather 2 piece for the last 5 years and couldn't fault them. the trousers are similar to the ones you have shown on your link with ballistic material rather than leather abound the inner thigh to nether regions - this makes them very comfy but only downside is your inner thigh will get wet if it rains but otherwise great.
the fit on them is very good too, nice and snug without being too tight
