In all fairness... How's that any worse than 1500 for a 20 year old Bandit?

its a lot worse actually , its twice the price and double the milage , not to mention all the other things, 1500-18 is a very good deal for a well kept and looked after bike , imo anyway and it keeps the best cash price nobs away,

TBH I'd sooner pay €2500 for a running, driving SC28 with original plastics, than I'd pay €1800 for a mint bandit - which isn't to say that the bandit isn't worth that sort of money, merely that the old blade is a FAR nicer bike!

As to the GSXR750 - I'd take an early SRAD (with a preference for the Fi version) over the blade any day of the week. Stunning bike in every regard.

aye.the prob there is of course the dealers that imported lots of bikes from japan and reged them as much newer thatn they were.also main dealers selling old stock off years after it was the year model. so you get 04 bros 400s , 93 vfr400 with a 98 reg , you get the pic. its common enough seeing a say 05 reged rsv1000 but its actually an 02 model ,

Yip, massive difference between an NC30,NC24 and NC21.

Seriously though, you ever get a spin on one? Smashing compromise between litre torque and 600 handling. Absolutely crackin' bike to ride.

I'd have one of them too - would have to be in the red and white though!

That!

'91 VFR400 means f*ck all to anyone who's actually interested in them, same as "NSR250"; there's a world of difference between the models. Granted there's room to include the model in along with the rest of it but up above I figured the context was fairly f*ckin' obvious to be fair.

...can't f*ckin' stand these moany auld lads myself.

see what you mean now world of difference just googled vfr 400 models heres one reply

(If the NC30 is a go-kart, the NC24 is a double-decker bus in my opinion),

still why not put down the model and type instead of lads trying to get technical about it,common folk will not have a clue about the various models but if ye put down HONDA VFR 400 NC24 it explains it perfectly

But surely the 10 pictures in the ad will tell ya what model bike it is without the seller trying to come across as all clever.

Like when ya see a VFR 750 R advertised....there is pictures with it...i can see it's not a vfr750f...i don't need yar man to put rc30 in the ad. I can see the pictures.

Jaysus you've started me on a rant...the absolute pits for me in a bike ad is when some dork refers to the bike as the "widow maker" ......lord that lad needs a slap is my first thought
