Thats a good job. How did you secure the lights to the wood. Is the underside adhesive?

Yep but not as sticky as you'd want on fibrous materials like wood, so double sided tape to the rescue.
20 quid total you can hang that anywhere in the garage, tons of light.

That was the plan but one five meter length doubled up is enough, well forr me. That pic was taken in the dark bar that light.

Here it is with the garage lights on.

Bike got similar treatment. The occasional summer commute had too many smidsy moments.

Yank offroad 4 wheeler outfit are selling the same units with tempered glass covers for literally ten times the price. Their feedback on the units seems good. Either way they're so cheap i bought two sets incase one shits the bed. The ones i got are spots but a combo of flood on lhs and spot on rhs would be ideal imo.

I opted for mains plugged in the drop down menu. They're a couple quid dearer with a 12v plugged supply but still cheap as chips. Very impressed with them, im going to light the garage exclusively with them but the cool white is too harsh imo so will mix it with warm white for a more natural light.

Did the same in the shed as well. Christmas rope lights that Lidl/Aldi sell are perfect - just route them around the ceiling area of the shed and you get a nice shadow-free spread of light from above. Go for the warm white option - less glarey than the cold white ones... Only about 15 quid IIRC
