..we should power our bikes with cow manure as no one is taking any notice of the largest contributor of CO2 emissions on this Island.

I prefer the diesel ones myself! Had a great day on Saturday - trip to Ballina & Westport with the RPSI, hauled by two locos with a combined power of almost 5000hp!

^This!^

If Brexit happens, and Irish exports to the UK of beef/dairy suffers, I just hope our govt don't give extra subsidies to keep them going.
Instead, maybe reduce the number of farms, and get more trees on the go?

not the way to go at all, we would be better not importing meat and dairy like we do now, we export quality meat and dairy and import far inferior meat and dairy with very little checks, and large factory farms are never going to be any better for us or the environment,
why not do away with farmed animals we dont need - race horses, ped. dogs, greyhounds etc

Exactly - we(Irish tax payers) are going to be hit with carbon taxes to support an industry that exports the majority of its produce overseas.

Don't worry you are not alone. Spain does the same thing.

Although it's clear the oil does not land in Ireland...
