Please tell me you are not trying to ride a bike without gearbox oil?

You own a two stroke, the two stroke oil mixes with the petrol via a pump and that is what lubricates your engine.
Never let it run out.

You need 2 stroke gearbox oil, riding a bike without this will cause the gearbox to seize up and likley do serious damage.

ya dont worry i was not riding it i know it needs gearbox oil to be lubricated i thought a two stoke engine needed engine oil aswell to be lucbricated and i was getting confused ya i have new gearbox oil in and plenty of two stoke and fuel and everything is grand

but bike cuts out when i ride it i checked spark plug seems fine i checked fuel line aswell seems fine i dunno could it just be oil stuck in the bottom of engine that needs burning off??

Ok for any kind of diognosis lots more info needed.

What year is it?
Mileage?
Any receipts of work done?

How is she stopping?
You say it idles fine, so is it cutting out on acceleration? At certain revs?
Or when comming to a stop?

If you dont know when it was serviced last get a new spark plug and an air filter at least.

Loads of reasons why 2strokes can stop.
Lets hope its not an expensive reason.

When she stops can you still push it in first Gear or does the rear wheel lock?

Does the bike cut out completley when accelerating? Or just like a misfire and keeps going?

If its a 2002 nsr80 its most likley had a rough life.
Try spark plug and air filter, if that doesnt sort it get the carb cleaned by a mechanic.
