Just renewed this week with CN...€249 but with €50 cashback after 90 days works out at €199... Full Comp....incl breakdown assist, DNA security system...slightly wrong side of 40, 12 years NCB....was with Adelaide but best they could do was €235 without breakdown assist, but hope to never use it!
Took some amount of haggling though...would have been much less stressful to auto renew but not as much fun! Last edited by techo; 11th February 2015 at 04:21 PM. |

My figures for mid-February 2015.
Prices in € Fully comp tpft AXA 529 491 Carole Nash 521.33 395.1 Cornmarket 250.32 233.36 Liberty 503.4 387 About me: 30 year old male, passed my test back in October, riding bikes for years, 09-D CBF600sa, MS for 6 years, 6 years no claims. I like the CBF for its ABS system. I don't think I'd ever ride a bike without one now. I gave Cornmarket (aka Adelaide) 275 for fully comp with no claims protection and legal cover. It was only €25 to add that on so I went for it. I miss Quinn. Liberty have gone awful dear by comparison. As for a list for the ring around, I skipped Aviva because I sincerely doubt they can come in under €300. Carole Nash was was the best of craic. They originally came in around the €750 mark. And I could hear the supervisor chatting away behind the poor Polish woman I was talking to. "Dziękuję" says I (thanks) æbut I'm hanging up now unless you can come down to about €450" so they went away, had a confab for 5 minutes and came back at €521. My liberty renewal was €480 which went up by €20 for some reason. Job done anyways. Petrol seems to have crept back to the €1.30 mark, but I'd only use a €5 a week. |
