I spent 14 yrs working in insurance and I'm telling you as a fact this has happened. A young lad involved in a serious hit and run was driving a cage under the driving of other vehicles. The insurance company refused to pay because following their investigation the driver - their insured - had bought and paid for the car himself -registered it in someone elses name.

The guards did him for dangerous driving, leaving the scene and no insurance - no bullshit - fact
