Thistles and Bah Humbug !
![]() Frank Thomas glove, still nice and comfy, warm and waterproof after only eighteen months of light use, but has now started to wear thin, tear apart along the side of the index finger, with whatever the low quality outer layer material used in the construction failing, exposing a white waterproofing layer beneath ... Grrr ! But, here in wild, wet West Cork, I look on the bright side ... It could be worse ... and the G/f has hinted that she has bought me a nice replacement pair of waterproof Alpinestar's for Christmas ! |

I thought frank thomas went belly up a few years ago, they're probably cheap chinese shite using the frank thomas brand name,as admin said, fook awl use in a bang.
Frank thomas was liquidated in 2011 and J&S accesories bought the name, according to google. |

My FT trewsers started to go the same way. Bought them just before FT went belly up, at the NEC.
I won't be posting photos. Nobody needs to see that. Even from "new" the quality was poor. Heel zip puller thingy snapped off quickly, lining inside wasn't properly sewn to the leather. But I suppose you get what you pay for. |
