So believe it or not that is the rarest colour scheme for an sp2 or sp-y or sp1... Less than 100 in the UK! Another selling point, and at the end of the day he needs to be aware of all the fine details selling that bike, there are as many lads willing to pay top dollar as there are people willing to bash them as overpriced. I would be aiming to get closer to 10 on it, with the comfort of knowing the price is not coming down. 15k sterling is taking the piss at this stage but 10k Euro is realistic for the market for a clean original low mileage bike with a rare colour scheme

They are what they are.
Personally I wouldn't have one about the place.
The road bike and race bikes are world's apart.
The b1h zx6r will piss all over it on road or track.
In fairness the build and finish is first class, probably the last good honda.
The only reason it has a fallowing it has, is due to a grossly unfair advantage given to ducati in wsbk. Honda took that advantage plus 10 times ducatis budget.
In my mind fuck all special about that.
But it is what it is and fools and money will always be separated.
I look at sports bikes as a tool I ride them I don't fucking
look at them and if I did I'd spend me cash on a 916.
But there is a lad out there that will give 10k for that
all day long.

If seller isn’t stuck for few euros, I’d stick it on a few uk auctions with high, 15k, reserve with seller contact details just for the craic. See what happens. After that usual internet auctions with lower reserve. Cool bike all the same. Put it back to stock too.

So every road and track in the world with that statement then... Yeah course it would

To me, bikes like this are white elephants. If you put new tyres on them and ride them, you just devalue them - might as well got something at 1/10th the price and had just as much fun.

They're beautiful, great to look at, like a work of art. But maybe not ideal for actually riding. Unfortunate really.

Itís grand though as the prices are only high for people looking to do the same thing. I must be one of the only ones that doesnít get these bikes I think. Tried a really well sorted sp2 in 09. Look stunning and great sound but no thanks
