Who'd want a stolen bike back after 3 years being used by an inbred skanger ?

If the insurance company didn't pay out for some reason or it wasn't insured
when it was stolen then the original owner would get it back. I certainly wouldn't want it back.

Dare we say?
"well done to the guards involved"

I always thought the mountain bike cops were the "water boy" of the crime fighting World.

Well... they pretty much stumbled into it and if we consider that they recovered 1 (one) stolen motorcycle in the past 2 years, I don't know if we should give them too much credit.

It's good news anyways, especially if your man does end up doing time for it but they definitely need to stumble into a lot more to consider it a job well done IMO.

Re: Result - stolen bike to be returned

"After questioning a man who claimed he owned it, gardai discovered that he had created a fake registration and had a fake tax disc."

The absolute fucking balls on the cunt. He knew it was stolen but in his head he reckoned it was his property now?? 'I stole it fair and square'. I hope he gets arse raped to death.

With the numbers ground off the frame (and usually also the engine) the legitimacy of the bike is fucked henceforth. If the bike is recognized as stolen by finglas guards it goes without saying an insurance company own it, as they don't recognize crime against the person in that station. So much so - they can and do refuse to issue an incident number in such cases.

Unfortunately that's probably exactly where it will go unless the insurance company sells it of to a parts scavenger.
