Interesting, never knew it existed. Probably as well that it never made it to the production stage judging by the RE5 Suzook.....

Looks interesting!
The size of the Rad!
Without googling I'm having a guess it's a 2 stroke liquid cooled Rotory engine?

Fecking euro 4 and 5 are really making bikes boring these days.

i always think that it would hurt a lot if you had to stop quickly on one of those.

https://www.biker.ie/forum/showthread.php?t=207526 reminded me of this when i had your old MZ.

Cant upload the pic, but theres a photo of the valve springs on that Guzzi in the 5th pic down in this:

https://www.mcnews.com.au/moto-guzzi...charged-500-4/

Little wonder that it was the Gilera 500/4 that became the grand-daddy of all the modern fours, and not that baschte

Very messy looking arrangement that, but you have to start somewhere when it comes to new things.
Speaking of Gilera, that was my first 'proper' bike - a Gilera RC125. I thought a hell of a lot more classy than yer KMX or DT!

These hairpin valve springs were common on bike engines including Manx Nortonís up till the mid fifties.

Potential disaster there if you don't get your wheel speeds right
unless you just use it for pootling around a field.
