Re: Options

zx10r is a proven track bike, bomb proof to a degree, as the s1000rr as a road bike and carries a bmw badge.

in saying that, if the s1000rr is the gen 3 and has all the bells and whistles thats what id be choosing. The revisions in the gen 3 make it a bike id like myself. But bmw service history will make it easier to sell, and bmw servicing costs can be hit and miss it seems based on opinions.

As much as I hate to admit it, I'd go for the BMW. But if it was the 2015 model BMW I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

Re: Options

In reality it's pointless asking questions like this.
Anyone who has a beemer will say buy the S1000
anyone with a Kwaker will say buy the ZX10
and the honda honda honda lads will say buy a blade.
Try before you buy,tis the only way.

The beemer has elec suspension, slick extras like heated grips, cruise control , & superb handling etc based on many reviews. And a far better display. S1000rr gets my vote. A more rounded bike (?)

Re: Options

Had a 12 beemer had a few issues nothing major, upgraded to the 18 beemer as was said they're no comparison test rode most of the 1ltr sports bikes out there and if I was honest the sp blade was a very close second place for me it's a personal thing at the end of the day.

Just buy the one you want. You will not be able to get near 75% of either bikes full potential on the roads anyway. And if you are, go racing and I'll tip my hat to you.

After a few nights thinking over it
I've decided that I can afford a 17
S1000rr.
The zx10r is an animal of a bike
But the s1000 is where I'm at for the
Next year or so.
Thanks for the input 👍
