Motorbike: Suzuki DL650 V STROM..
Default Stable in the Past.

At the time i owned these bikes i never advertised the fact, i was always very cautious of drawing attention to the number of bikes i owned at any one time, if you looked at my ride then it probably just said v strom 650 on the forum, as i have had four of them over the years.

Sold now due to circumstances, have owned two RC45s ....previous one had a full yosh system twin carbon fibre cans.....the howl off it was fucking awsome

Its funny really all my mates of the late sixties / early seventies had the cool bikes , i had an old puch 50 cc pedal moped, that my dad bought for 40 quid around 1968, when he came home on it and told me it was for me, i was so excited to have any sort of bike i couldnt care that i owned the un coolest bike by far, none of my mates progressed any further on motorbikes once they met their future partners wives, all whipped into submission...to date i have owned approx 100 bikes ... could be either side of a hundred....one time i owned eight bikes....in better money days, all pre 2008

But im still on a bike thats the main thing...to me...

This is the exact model and colour of puch, not in this condition though... I travelled around the west and south of ireland camping , always brought some spare spark plugs though...

From the Punch to the Yamaha thats progression, the others were only a step sideways. :-P

Would like to parrot all what green grass said.

I've personally suffered the scum, in my case they were chasing junkers, your non disclosure was warrented.

Touring the country on a punch, bravely going where no man has gone before? Deffo a claim to fame!

What a collection, fair play. Did you have a tough time shifting the rc45 and did it hold the value you paid for it? Love them so much!

Not only a great collection of bikes but all in fantastic condition.
Great to have something like the strom or tiger to keep the miles off the other yokes.

The pipes were installed on the bike with an original system in a box. used, the guy i sold it to eventually was in the dealers to buy it when i called to collect it, so he knew dealer and knew what bits were in deal, he wore me down with a good offer after numerous attempts i gave in, i believe the full yosh titanium system as wsb used , with twin shotgun carbon pipes cost 3 to 4 grand in 1996......it was a thing to behold... have photos but nothing on laptop....

Absolutely not just a couple of days , best profit i ever made on a bike, but that said it would fetch a lot more now......in the past three years the price has jumped, obviously the dealer knew the market better than me at the time..but no point in crying now , i need the bobs then..
