The gen2 tuono was available until late 10 then the V4 came out. You want an 08 on if you can as all the daft stuff was sorted then like the stator problem. 08 have black wheels on the R. The Factories aren’t really worth the extra imho. I always found the Ohlins to hard and got a better set up with the standard bikes.
I’ve had a few and know tonnes of lads with them if you need any help.

True, but the stators usually get left till they give up, so itíd be one thing less to worry about
Iíve had them all mate, Rsv/Rsvrís, Tuono Rís, Racings, Factorys, Black Dreams, built a couple up, love em. Didnít like the V4T though. If me shoulders werenít fucked Iíd still have at least two, well I wish I still had them all tbh

You may well be right.. Unless you were going to put it on track the Ohlins would not really be much advantage.... I have an 05 model and have had it on track with brilliant fun.... even had the peg dragging(Barely) with the standard suspension... do you know anything about the blue wire and airbox upgrade.?

Some power boosts voodoo on the older bikes iirc, you could have it at 80hp or full bore mental. Theirs some epic airbox threads out there, everyone was at it, it was worth it for the induction growl alone. Fuckin epic bikes Apes are
Ohlins was great on a track day, but it was always way to harsh for me on normal roads. Looks the bollox though eh
