Just got my quote from Liberty Insurance - €406. Fully comp, 2015 F800GS, 3 years NCB.

Haven't called around yet, that's the job for next week.

So I thought paying 230 quid more than last year with Nash was bad but today I got a quote from MCE
€1440 quid at 37 with 16 years no claims for the two bikes. What the actual fuck? Wasted a half hour on the phone!
Principal in at 690 so dearer than Nash too. I love insurance in this kip!

That’s great for you but there’s 3 places doing multi bike policies and I tried them all as per above!
Relevant factor nil!

Im shopping around atm for insurance on a gsxr600 04, experience is full licence for 1 yr and 1 yr ncb (will be 2 in may) and am 28. Not having much joy and picked the below posts because similar age and experience but getting reasonably quotes recently.

I am paying €350 on a 600 bandit atm which im happy with but want an extra €160 for only 3 months considering if it was per annum or renewal it would but very expensive.

Any advice as the quotes I have got are €590 MCE, €730 Liberty and principal will not quote unless I have my full for 2yrs.

Mad considering MCE where the only crowd to touch me on a zx6r and zx9r while on a permit

Good or bad? I thought was quite reasonable as they almost didn't quote me at all a 3 months ago when i got the bike. i'll ring principal also and see what they quote as they seem to be the cheapest lately.

Hello Ernest,

Insurance is pricier in Northern Ireland than in different parts of the United Kingdom. Bike Insurance is the best solution to satisfy exceptional costs that may arise as a result of the damages caused to the motor cycle. Sooner or later, dirt bike insurance is entirely your choice.

What affects the cost of your Motorbike Insurance?

James

I genuinely love how kids nowadays think this is expensive. HTFU lads, you don't know how easy you have it, or how cheap bike insurance has got in the past 3/4 years.

Another quick one.

A neighbour of mine who lived abroad for a few years in Asia, said that I might find it tough getting insurance here now cause I lived abroad for a few years.

Anyone know if there is any truth to something like this? Particularly with bikes?

FYI, he lived in Asia for a number of years, I was in Vancouver.
