AXA have been great for me for over ten years - multibike policy, breakdown, 30day eu cover and reasonably priced. They didn't even charge a fee to add my most recent bike purchase.

Watch for an age limit on the bikes.

As far as I know CN are the only ones who cover older bikes. A lot of the other breakdown cover is limited to either 10 or 15 years old bikes.

Everyone except Liberty.

The standard policy from Principal seems to offer identical cover
to the policies sold by CN.

Multi-bike
Other bikes (third-party only)
Breakdown cover. (no age limit on the bike)

I have always been insured with either CN or Principal.
Axa don't like me for some reason. They always quote
+200-300% compared to the others. Liberty don't do
multi-bike and MCE still don't have a proper phone number.

The number one thing to remember when dealing with Insurance companies is that they are ALL cunts. Each company is the same as the next. They do not exist to provide you with a service,or to make your life easier. They exist to make money. Money is their number 1 drive,so never fool yourself into thinking you are a valued customer just because you've been with an insurance company for X amount of years. You are just a reference number on someone's desk. And that someone is just a number on someone else's desk in head office. Insurance is a vile industry!

im with principal who have had no issue with regards to multibike and the ages of them.

Also have the aul european jobbie i believe, and an open drive policy on any bike as opposed to carole nash who would insure me on anyones bike the same or less cc than my own - as someone into their jap 400's thats a bit limiting

I renewed this week with MCE as Adelaide or Cornmarket are gone.

Euro cover, breakdown assist, track day cover, helmet/gear cover only up to 450 mind

650 excess

About 100 quid cheaper than CN

Just looking at the small print on the track day cover

Excess increases to half the value of the bike

Notwithstanding the limitations as to use contained in your certi cate of motor insurance, cover will operate if your motorcycle is entered into or participates in any track day on a motor sport circuit in Great Britain or Ireland provided the event is not timed, is managed to provide an appropriate safety distance between vehicles on the track, authorised stewards and marshalls are employed to supervise the event and there is no element of racing against other motorcycles or against the clock. Where your motorcycle is being used in connection with any such event the excess payable is increased to 50% of your motorcycle claim value, subject to a minimum of 1,300.00.

MCE = 690

AXA = 670

no reply on principle so didn't bother waiting on the fookin line

CN = 428 , happy enough considering that's six bikes - I know, im greedy, none of them are worth much, one good one would cost more but I like having a few toys and im old enough to have em so there
