If you like dreadfully boring bikes, then yeah, I guess....

Bandit 600 beats a CB750 in every department. However, should you be talking a 70's 740-4, oh well different story...the bike that finally strangled BSA and Triumph, sadly.

Do you mean the 750-4 with the dodgy cam chain tensioner and chocolate cams, lovely bike though. Seany is it the CB750 f2n nighthawk, always wanted one lovely lookin bike. Great thing about them is the lack of maintenance due to their hydraulic valves. I had a CBX750F which had the highly tuned, 90hp, engine and comstar race wheels great bike. They can suffer from alternator chain failures which are expensive to fix, easy to diagnose though.

Seany, the CB750's not a cruiser, it looks similar to the Bandit, hence my comparison.

Yeah the 750-4 with the chocolate cams, that's the one! Been riding a '71 on and off for about 18 months now.

my 78 cb750 with 836 bigbore, straight through pipes, big valve head ,k+ns and other little mods would eat the bandit for breakfast up to about 110,after that it gets hard to hold on to the apehangers.
i raced an fj12 on the kilcock road once and it couldnt pull away untill the apehangers got scary.
the fj11 has a bigbore kit too.it passed a lot of blades on the tt course last time it was there.160mph,125 bhp on a 55 stone bike with 1985 anti dive,16 inch wheel and ventilated discs is a far cry from boring.
my mates have blades ,gsxr`s etc and i can borrow them anytime but i much rather have fun on my own bikes.

bandits are like clits.....every cunt has one
