!!!!!rathmines/haroldsx BIKE THEFT warning!!!!!!

apparently theres a lot of bike theft activity in the rathmines/haroldsx area in the last few days . a few members have had problems over it and would like to warn others in the areas . scumbags have been seen on stolen bikes going round looking for other targets and have even been SEEN escaping from gardens after being disturbed .SO WATCH OUT , AND BE PARONOID ESP OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS .

Good advise, but think it's everywhere at the moment. Bought one of them locks from aldi as a back up to the one I already have and A CCTV thing from B+Q. deadly yoke and simple to set up.

I have to agree as i have found someone trying to rob my bike there the other
evening and a friends house was broken to twice in two weeks.
It has always been a hot spot but that is more a reason to watch out.

Scum that you get locked up for if you get rid of them and doing society a
favor.
Cheers lads and look out for each other.
Thanks.

Are phosphorus grenades hard to get? I thought they were banned as a weapon of war? It'd be some craic, sneak up behind the scumbag and put the grenade down his jumper and laugh

Yanks used white phophorus in Iraq but only to drive the insurgents out of burning houses so they could be shot. Any burns were purely accidental.

i remember losing a loved one to these scumbags once many moons ago , my pride and joy 350LC back in the 80,s, been one of the few lucky ones that got it back .... 4 months later....guess where ???????? the canal in Clondalkin, think its the ninth lock where that pub is (the waterside use to be lock and quay) an old lad fishing seen it under the water and told the cops in Ronanstown and they hauled it out,had to wait another two weeks to get it back cause the numbers were filed off it, still over the moon when i got it back, be aware

Two days ago, the door bell rang. When I opened the door my neighbour spat into my face: “three men are stealing your bike!” (I park it at the back of the house in a small yard) When I got there they were gone – bike was moved by about a meter, cover and chain still on!
Thanked my neighbour very, very much. Got another lock and also printed a picture of a CCTV camera, cut it out and stuck it behind the window. From a few meters away it looks like a real one. Hopefully that will scare them off.

hopefully, it's a gust of wind, or just as likely, the neighborhood cat, that is moving the cover around.
