Default MotoGP: cheapest, legal viewing option?

So, with the new MotoGP season about to start, what is the cheapest, legal viewing option?

Is EirSport worth it?

Can I get BT Sport on its own?

Is the MotoGP online sub the only real option?

Eh?

Hi Ascalon,

Watching MotoGP online, on demand, from wherever I happen to be (access to wifi permitting), has been the most worthwhile subscription option for me for the last ten years. You get to see all classes of practice/race viewable live or later, plus there's access to extra features and events like off-season test sessions and an extensive archive of events from years gone by ...

Share & Enjoy !

Cheers for that.

Yeah, had a sub last year, I was just wondering if there was another option in the meantime.

I am not into any ball-based leather worrier games, so all I want is motorsport.

It's just €139 is still a fair whack, but if it's the best option, then I'll go with it.

I got it on a special last year for €99.

Had the official subscription last year on a discount deal just over a hundred quid, was actually well worth the money even though I often enough get it on the big tv in my local anyway

Eir have free btsport if you switch Wi-Fi to them.
I've cancelled my subscription with eir hoping the Bt sport will remain.
I'll update soon.

Just made the switch. Not a bad option, since it's something you're probably paying for anyway, and there are always deals if you switch/threaten to cancel.

A lot of their mobile plans include access through the mobile app so you can watch on a phone.

If you switch your broadband, a lot of plans include access through a web browser. Easy to hook an HDMI cable up to a bigger screen. The browser support is a bit patchy, but it should be possible to get SOMETHING that works on just about anything. I don't think it's HD.

With Eir sports pack app on your phone.....You can use chrome cast to view BT Sports 2 on your TV.

Or watch it for free via the Modbro app.

Just a point on Modbro. If you are using it in a Pixel phone, the Chromecast option works for screen broadcast, outside of the app.

What's the cost for the app only?

Yeah, as demand goes up, streaming service get jittery. The race is usually pretty poor to watch on these kinds of options, as it is the most popular of the sessions.

You get the Sports Pack app for free with your Eir BB or mobile phone contract.
