Imported several times from the UK. Followed the procedure paid the tax and all was well. Anybody imported from the Isle of Man and if so, is it the same as from UK

Cleared a bike from iom a few years back and it was the same as the uk.

Just remember that Brexit happens at the end of this month, no deal could mean customs duty of 10% and VAT of 23% when buying from a country outside of the EU. Therefore Bike Cost*customs*VAT=new cost e.g. if bike costs 1000 then its 1000*1.1*1.23=1353 and then you pay your VRT!

Yes, the duty and VAT will kill the UK trade to here stone dead I guess...

Yes it's the same process as UK. They do sometimes give you a funny look though if they see Iom on the log book.
