Picked up 4 of them in Listowel last week, but due to a change of circumstances (joining the priesthood) they'll be going on donedeal shortly for 180e each - great quality kit, I cut thru 12mm titanium a few mins ago so they're worth 200 quid all day long.

There's too many rules and regs here and the UK. Rules designed to protect people from themselves. I wouldn't think twice about fitting 13A plug to that machine. I'd probably remove the fuse from it too, and and replace it with a 6mm bolt, and let the breaker at the consumer unit do its job, like they do in the rest of the world, Which is, in effect, exactly what that 16A plug is doing.

Or buy one of these

I don't mind nanny state rules for people who are too thick to work things out for themselves but I, fortunately, I don't fall under that umbrella.
