Machine shop in Cork?

Hi lads,

I've started a little resto-project there, bought a non-runner and sure enough, she has fecked a valve on #3.

Would you be able to recommend a Cork shop to work on the head?

Any rough ideas on how much will that cost me?

Cheers,
Rami

Haven't opened her up yet, but by the melted spark plug and metal bits on the exhaust port, I'm guessing dropped a valve. When I say fecked, I mean fecked

s/h ?

Nah, it's pretty common bike. I assume you say getting a second hand head all together but then again, I'll have to trust that it's in good nick, etc. So unless mine are in a very bad condition I think I'll prefer to have it done properly and just forget about it.

I'll give these guys a ring, Murphy's engineering wanted 50 euro per cylinder to bore them out and heads are fucked.

Got myself new donor engine but getting std rings for it is almost as expensive as getting a full piston kit with rings included +1mm size, so I'll need a rebore anyways to do that.

Not paying 200 euros do rebore the cylinders though, so we'll see.... and if not, it'll be a fingers crossed and use pistons and rings as is and hope for some compression
