Deer jumped out in front of me while going over Wicklow Gap. Lucky to be alive. Stayed on bike. Dunno how tbh.

Deer died on impact. You can still see the deer hair/fur in the fairing and front wheel. Stranded at top of Gap for over an hour.. No phone reception. With the help of some friends who arrived on, we limped bike back to Hollywood where it expired.

Zoom into top right had corner to see deer on road.

Stay safe out there

Thatís pretty fuckin knarly....I hit a sheep coming up onto the gap from blessington,he/she was a tough little fecker...made shit of the bike but was still drivable and I got home on it. I ended up sitting on the tank and just barely hopped off without dropping it(not like it would have mattered ).....You got away lucky in an unlucky situation

The easiest option is to upload them to the gallery:

"We ask that everyone to upload their entries directly to the Photo of the Month Competition Gallery

https://www.biker.ie/gallery/upload....le=1&album=578

.. in order to avoid the issue of broken links messing up the voting thread and to ensure that the pics remain visible in the future."

Chickenhawk:

When uploading to the Gallery, resize your image if necessary first (your original file as uploaded to your Googledrive was too big to upload - resulting in an error message)

Click the image to open in full size.
