Mondello training day 24th March

Im doing this training day, just a few questions for those in the know. Do you need to tape up lights and mirrors for the training day? Anything i need to do to the bike before i get there or before the training? Cheers!

When you are doing your breaking etc nothing needed to do to bike but once you go on track id say you hafto take off your mirrors or fold them in and tape up ur lights.

Re: Mondello training day 24th March

Howdy, I did this a few years back and took off my mirrors and taped up lights and indicators....if you have no mirrors, you wont be looking in them. sounds daft but its a habit that you wont need to use....taped up everything just in case of the worst! if your bringing the bike in an unmentionable then you might as well...different story if your driving the bike there. Also, check what pressure you should be running in your tyres...if you reckon your gona be moving on a bit, then it will make a bit of difference. The lads are very helpful there, enjoy!

Was a bit nervous myself for other reasons but absolutely nothing to worry about nice relaxed atmosphere everyone at their own pace it'll improve your skills and confidence mightily, waiting for my suspension set up and I'm heading back for a Trackday

Phone again later and tomorrow. There are usually punters who have to cancel at the last min. There may be a reserve list though.

Why not come down for a look anyway. You could probably sit in on most of the stuff and learn what its all about before you get out on track. You'd be surprised how much you could learn.
