That's of course very true........but the gear has to be replaced and it's normally a very large expense €1500 - €2000 in some cases if you have to replace everything.......it's nice not to have to dip into your own piggy bank!!

Saved my life. When I looked at the state of the helmet visor afterwards I found that it was torn to bits & I hadn't even realised that my face had made contact with the road. Scary shit

Thats great to hear, this is the first time i have had to make a claim on my fully comp policy in a lifetime, so no idea really..

Same here.....plus broken nose,,,,among a range of broken bones, but very lucky to be alive, i do know that.....

Have a few examples of your bike picked out for a replacement value.......obviously choose wisely.
The guy I dealt with pretty much much had the same examples picked from Done Deal as I had and I was fairly happy with the valuation.

It was my first time as well.
