Another cool find GS1100E

So following on from finding the nice GS1000
I stumbled across this big Suzuki GS1100 and snagged it as ya do.
pulled it outta long term storage
very clean and runs sweet as a nut after
the usual carb clean and oil change.
I've always prefered these to the big kwackers.

Re: Another cool find GS1100E

Had one of these for a few years and loved it. Of American origin, it had an 85mph speedometer, with a big standout 55mph on the speedometer face. It could cover ground very nicely at a steady 85mph on the clock where laws allowed. For a time I did have a spider living in the speedometer housing, whose web limited my speed to an indicated 35mph. There wasn't much difference between 35 and 85 for the duration of the spider's tenancy.
