Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

Went with Cornmarket (previously Adelaide) again this year as they were the best quote.

2 bikes, a '08 SV1000 and a '03 SV1000S - fully comp. 42 years old, non commuting, living in County Kildare. No previous claims and 11 years/55% NCD. Didn't opt for roadside assist or legal aid options and total premium was 243 which I was happy enough with.

Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

Renewal time again...

With Adelaide/Cornmarket right now - the rest of them beat their renewal price...
Spoke to Adelaide - said to call back closer to the time with the best quote I get elsewhere and they would try to beat it...

Might give Principal a go this year - EU breakdown is nice to have...

Expecting it to be a bit more this year, so I'll be shopping around.

Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

Age 41, 7 yrs NCB, full licence 20 yrs, Bandit 600- euro 247, quote just in the door yesterday (Was 254 last time). Also got the letter about not needing to shop around, CN would take the money automatically, save me the hassle. Notice that they put a cap of 2000 miles on the renewal, that was not there last year. Worth people checking their renewals to check mileage isnt capped.

Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

In my humble opinion I'm fairly sure Carol gash are trying to sink the new crowd principle insurance. They are matching and even undercutting principles prices .they seemed desperate to keep me as a customer lately even after I told them that I was sick of their bullshite and was moving to principle regardless .they didn't give a fuck about any other company's quotes only principles.
