Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

Carroll & Nash quoted me €1086 fully comp this year on the KTM 640 adv living in Finglas. Doing 10000kms in a year approx. No pillion cover.

Three years no claims, 37 years old. 2 and a half years full licence.

Liberty and Adelaide both quoted €500 so stayed with Adelaide.

I'm 34 years old and have been driving bikes for the last 18 years. I would also buy a 500cc or 600cc irish bike.

Thanks

Ernest.-
i earnest,, they have to give you a quote online,im from ireland living in spain and have my insurance online with linea directa,,,plus if you have any years experience driving in spain this no claims will carry over for your insurance in ireland,,,,,

Just over e400 with Adelaide, that's for a 2007 VFR 800 - fully comp with breakdown assist. 4 Years NCB. Don't think that's too bad considering I do nearly 20KM per year

Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

I mite as well add some info here, just to sicken everyone! lol

Last year had to start of with 0 NCB as it lappsed. So picked up a KTM Duke 640 as it was cheap insurance, (£140) in N.I.
Now with 1 years NCB and just turned 30 , insurance now for a GSXR1000 is £180.

So the hunt is on for one now before the end of april.
