One way streets in town are a mess....and all the talk of carbon footprints is bolloxoligy too...you end up burning more fuel going round in circles when the place you need to go is only across the road

Update

Spoke to the Guard...decent bloke. He said that was an error and he'll sort it right away. Told me to email him a pic of the fine and he'll call me as soon as it's done:-)

Good question, because in a mandatory court appearance they are not always mentioned as they are automatically administered after the fact upon conviction.

Update

Didn't hear from the Guard for a while so called the fixed office again.

Told them that the Guard was going to write and adjust it as it might have been a typo

Called Fixed office...they said....if he said that then I should put in for a cancellation myself and say what the Guard said

Did that

Next day Guard emailed me apologising for the delay and that he would apply for a cancellation

Week later I got an email from the guard saying he's applied for a cancellation and not to pay even if it goes over 28 days

Got letter today saying that my cancellation request has been approved, the notice has been cancelled

So between the decent Guard and my own application it's all sorted

I'd say some people just pay the fine without double checking the details. I knew it was a one point offence so I went after it

My mates were slagging me saying there's not much difference between 1 and 2 points....well maybe but if you get another 3...that becomes 5 not 4 lol

Thanks for all the advice......I'm parking in a new spot now to avoid temptation lol
