Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

Was with liberty. 245 they quoted this year. 11 years no claims, 99 fazer 600, tpft cover.
Had a bad experience with pricinpal on the phone last year but I said I'd give them a call this year.
208 they came in at. So went with them. Great deal I got. Breakdown cover, drive other bikes etc.

Re: Bike Insurance in Ireland -How much do you pay?

Got my renewal in from liberty 587 tpft on a k6 gsxr 750. Decided to price around a bit, rang Carole Nash, 878 tpft they quoted me, I laughed and told them I could get it from liberty for 550. The sales member said hang on and I'll check with my product something or other (fancy name for manage), 3 minutes later on hold she comes back and says, good news my manager has approved a discount and we can do that for 532.54 tpft.

While I should have been happy I got a cheaper quote, I was more pissed off that within 3 minutes they were able to knock the guts of 350 off the quote they gave me. Show's no regulation within the insurance industry at all, they just pluck prices from the air.
