Re: Bikes seized by Gardai

Exactly... I love how they try to put every single "capture" related to covidshite... is like your man that got to jail because he was outside his 2km radius, BUT he had no insurace, no drivers license, no NCT, no tax and it was even the second time he was caught (Which means they didn't check for anything before)... but sure, he got to jail because being outside the 2km zone...

Media is pushing hard to put fear on us, fear sells, fear gives them views.

I was stopped by one of those pus-faced pubescents wearing a Garda vest yesterday. "Where are you going"? "Castle street". "Where's that exactly"? "You're standing on it"..

How did they think going out on a bank holiday weekend of a lockdown with no insurance and tax was good idea. I can barely afford to keep mine on rd but if taxed and insured.

Far enough to escape. What garda car will be able to catch up? If you're in such a situation, you don't hang about, go straight home.

I pay my tax and insurance as well but that's not the only thing you can get pulled over for. You're going above 200 km/h in 2nd gear on these bikes and that would be a long ban or prison in this country so you should have an escape plan or suffer the massive consequences. Go rob a house and you'll get a slap on the wrist or be a traveller and we'll add it to the other 100 convictions you have but try to speed and you're going straight to jail.

Everyone that owns these massive hp machines speeds, why else own them?

So who's gonna test this out then?

Empty roads.

Blow through the checkpoints on their hyper performance, penis extension, poser machine. See how many choppers they can outrun.

AFAIK de shades only have 2 helicopters and one fixed wing craft, piloted by the Air Corps, so if unless you're in the Dublin area, between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday, chances are there'll be no "aircover" available, so its the radio call ahead will get you. So if you do a runner, best hide the bike,.. and call a friend to come pick you up in some quiet back road.... and hope your bike is where you hid it when you go back to get it the following morning.....

Unless its the other kind of chopper (Easy rider Hardly Ableson type) we're talking about...pretty sure de shades have none of those, and they're easily outrun in any case

I'll see myself out, this whole Wuhan wheeze restriction thing is making a Horlicks of the fine weather....
