Hi guys,
Quick question I assume 🤣 do you do or do you dont add lead or an additive to a 1986 honda rebel cmx 450 us import? No info on hanes manual or the net.

Japan was the first country to start switching to unleaded in 1972, so probably not.

All Japanese engines have had to run on unleaded since 1976 but have been built for unleaded long before.

I read something last night that every Honda from 69 onwards would run on unleaded.

Tbh they'll run on premix 2t too!! The noddy dad had was a bit smokey for a whole after a keen hedz junior topped up the tank for him

One of my customers has a 1967 F**D Anglia and he puts a tot of 2 stroke oil in the petrol.
It gives a nice little puff of blue smoke when you give it some welly

1969 on ! Jaysis. Never woulda guessed. I thought it was the tail end of the 70s
