Re: Restoring a neglected Desmo!

Interesting. I've often adjusted the suspension settings but does anyone ever get their shocks serviced? Like the chap said, ride on till it leaks. Probably worth doing as the decline in performance over years would be so gradual you'd probably not notice it till it was fairly bad.

Thanks Paddy. I'm lying in bed with a broken ankle and my new fiberglass cast. Was about to look for something to watch on the laptop. Watched part one and i'm looking forward to the rest of them.

Shit! I'm sorry to hear that man. GWS. You can sign up for a Netflix account free trial for a month, lots of documentaries on it and at the end of the month you can just decide not to renew or pay anything. Not a great selection of films but you're bound to find something to stave off the boredom for a little while.

Sorry to hear your busted. GWS.

Re: Neglecting a restored Desmo!

thanks lads. i'm up to date with 44 teeth but i'll check out fast bikes.

My cousin in spain has given me his hbo login details so I'm getting stuck into that. Just finished true detective series three, which is very good.

I think that desmo is gorgeous. All that carbon fibre. drool. The episode in Ohlins where they rebuild the shocks was very intresting.

Netflix no longer do the free trial thing. I think it's because some people were getting 12 free trials a year

Savage bike, good to see whats really special about it too. Wonder if they improved on its value or negatively affected it now that its known to have a motor rebuild done outside of Ducati factory?
