Default So what does 2700 quid buy me?

Sold the monster today and by Jesus is it buying season. Rang about 5 or so bikes I've been looking at for a while and all sold this weekend.

Looking for a 600-750cc middleweight or else a bigger capacity muscle bike. Superbikes and 1000cc twins are out unfortunately for insurance til I build up a years no claims again.

A cbr600f would be great. Thin on the ground at the minute though.

Ah. 2700 is a long way from 3800 & I don't want to insult the guy. It's a gorgeous bike but unfortunately I don't a spare grand in the socks drawer...

I did see that. Must be one of Murphy's Laws, that the bikes you'd like to go see are always the other side of the goddamn country...

Hahha..Hey sorry man for the yellow input.

Seen on FB today that yer man of Retro Bikes got fresh stock of 63 bikes from Japan if you are not that focused to get into the 600cc bracket.
Might wanna have a sniff around to see what he got.

Has he got a list somewhere? Never saw anything for me there before. All very interesting and all that - unusual scooters and mint 20 year old 250 supersports etc

Emailed for the list and it is indeed mostly zoomers and the like.

A flight and a boat is always cool but it does immediately lop 3 to 400 quid off my budget.

Anyone on here selling?

Yeah, they come up a lot in my searches. A hoor of a place to get to though, unless you already had a motorbike... or a helicopter.

Plus a log of their stuff is sort 3500 ish, as opposed to 2700 ish.

if twas me I'd be offering 3k on the 636. The worst he can say is no, but he'd be mad if he did.

Little bump on this to see if anyone is looking to free a bike-shaped space in their lives.
