How to prevent stains on driveway when cleaning chain?

Guys, I'm running out of IKEA cardboard boxes to tear apart. I need a more sustainable solution. I'm thinking black garbage bags, but I reckon those have small holes on them. What do you use? Thank you.

Have an off cut of lino that gets rolled out for oily jobs. Spray of wd40 and wipe of a rag after and its clean again. Roll it up and chuck it back in the garage for next time. Got it for nothing out of des kelly carpets

I acquire 5 or 6 election posters every few years. Last for ages and the perfect size for under the bikes and cage. There's nuthin like dropping the sludge all over MaryLou's upturned smilin' face

Re: How to prevent stains on driveway when cleaning chain?

Those Ikea boxes should last you years.
Are you throwing them away after each use?
Any auld triumph rider would tell you your shed floor should be flattened out boxes at least an inch deep.
Soaks up all the oil and is a lot comfier to lie on when you collapse from exhaustion trying to kick the bike over or it kicks you over.
