Re: Would you??

Waste of an rg500 engine imo but I bet it turns on Jamie Oliver wannabes.

Re: Would you??

Hell yeah, i think that's an improvement.

I'd love to get a Honda Cub and do similar:

EDIT: And with the rg500 motor or something else just as bonkers

Shurely scald your leg on that yoke ?

With proper gearing I'd say there wouldn't be many would hang with that RG scooter away from the lights.

No it isn't, it's a perfect use for one.
Doubt it turns them on, they get all moist over modern twist and gos with tacky accessories bolted on and would see that bike as a waste of a good lambretta frame.
If you can't see the appeal in making something designed to ride slowly to the shops on go ridiculously fast then you'll never understand and neither will the Jamie Oliver types.

Re: Would you??

I can't think of a better place for that engine. It's better being used in that than sat in an RG500 getting polished in some wanker's garage.

Re: Would you??

The quality control in the Suzuki factory building them engines was so bad that the horsepower quotas were all over the place...badly engineered
