Didn't get the itinerary yet, Bren. We'll be based at Runcorn for the weekend. Don't know why we're staying there but I suppose it's difficult to find a hotel that would be able to cater for a group of 80+ on a holiday weekend. Looking forward to it anyway

Arrived home last night after a great weekend in Wales & with 1534 kms added to the odometer. Travelled to Dublin last Thursday & sailed for Holyhead at 8.10 am on Friday. Then it was a scoot across north Wales to our accommodation at the Holiday Inn, Runcorn. Saturday's scheduled route took in Mold, Ruthin, Bala, Dolgellau, Barmouth, Harlech, Portmadog, Capel Curig, Bethesda, Dwygyfylchi, Rhuallt, Northop Hall & back to Runcorn. Saturday was a bust for me because my shoulder gave up the ghost at Harlech & I had to limp back to base from there
I was determined to have a good spin on Sunday so I headed out bright & early. The scheduled route took in Wrexham, Llandegla, Tyn-y-Cefn, Betws-y-Coed, Conwy, Llandudno, Abergele & a fairly straight run back to Runcorn from there. I 'tweaked' the route a bit to suit myself & I took in parts of Anglesey as well. Sunday more than made up for my bad day on Saturday & I was quite pleased with myself by the time I got back to Runcorn on Sunday evening. We had our usual function on Sunday night & then it was back to Holyhead yesterday morning for a 2pm sailing back to Dublin. I was fairly sore by the time I reached home last night & I'm still sore today but I'll have forgotten about the pain long before I forget this most enjoyable weekend. Well done to Billy, Katriona, Dan, Liam & all the crew who work tirelessly every year to organise this run

I was even presented with a mingy for being the only Blazing Biker to take a pic at Llanfairgetyoursheepoffmymountaingogogoch
